Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Blankfil QC (the "Service") is provided by Cool Max India, Dunetha Road, Nani Daman, Daman – 396210, Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India (GSTIN 26ABRPN1585D1ZF) ("we", "us"). Contact: support@blankfil.com.
2. Agreeing to these Terms
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. We ask you to agree again whenever we change these Terms; you cannot use the Service until you do.
3. The Service
The Service provides tools for quality control of clinical research documents, including sampling, QC tracking, document review and AI-assisted review. Outputs, including AI-generated findings, are aids to your own professional judgement. They are not a substitute for review by a qualified person, and you remain responsible for decisions made using them.
4. Accounts
- You must give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Accounts may need administrator approval before use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
- Tell us straight away at support@blankfil.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
5. Your content and patient data
- You keep ownership of documents you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the Service to you and the people you share with.
- You must not upload patient-identifiable data unless you are authorised to share it and doing so is permitted by the relevant study consent, ethics approval and applicable law, including the GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where possible, use pseudonymised or de-identified documents.
- You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content you upload and share.
6. Acceptable use
You must not: break the law; upload malware; try to access other users' data or bypass plan limits or security; overload or reverse-engineer the Service; or resell it without our written permission.
7. Plans, prices and payment
- Free: 10 sampling runs per calendar month and up to 10 documents at a time.
- Pro: ₹199 per month plus 18% GST.
- Team: ₹199 per seat per month plus 18% GST, minimum 3 seats including the Owner.
- Paid plans renew automatically every month by card or UPI AutoPay through Razorpay until cancelled. Tax invoices are issued by Cool Max India.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the Service. Changes apply from your next renewal after the notice period.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel from Profile → Plan & billing at any time. Cancellation takes effect immediately and the account moves to the Free plan. No refund is given for the rest of the billing month, except where required by law. Cancelling a Team plan removes Team access for all its members.
9. Team plans
- The person who buys a Team plan is its Owner. Only the Owner adds or removes members, changes seats and cancels.
- Ownership can only be moved by a Blankfil administrator, after checking with the organisation. A payment mandate cannot be moved to another person: when ownership moves, the previous Owner's mandate stops at the end of the paid month, and the new Owner must set up their own payment by then or the team moves to Free.
- UPI AutoPay mandates have a fixed amount. Changing seats on a UPI-paid plan requires approving a new mandate.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data or profit, or regulatory consequences of decisions based on the Service's output. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending your account
You can withdraw consent and ask for your account to be deleted from your profile. An administrator reviews the request and acts within 15 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may close accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Daman have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
